Michaela & Kyle celebrated their wedding at Holiday Valley in Ellicottville, NY, and we're excited to share their film. Holiday Valley is best known as one of the region's favorite ski resorts, but it's also a beautiful spot for a wedding, tucked into the hills of the Allegheny region in Cattaraugus County.
The resort offers lodge-style reception spaces with cathedral ceilings and hilltop ceremony sites that guests can reach by chairlift, along with on-site lodging for the wedding party. For filmmakers, that combination of mountain views and cozy lodge interiors is a dream, giving a wedding video both sweeping scenery and warm, intimate moments.
Ellicottville itself is a charming village and a popular getaway for Buffalo-area couples, which makes it a natural fit for a destination-feeling wedding that's still close to home. As Western New York wedding videographers, we always look forward to the drive south.
